Persons who are co-owners of an immovable or co-occupants of a business establishment must designate from among themselves, by means of a power of attorney sent to the municipality, only one person who can be entered on the list of electors.

To be registered on the electoral list you must complete the form available at the municipal office or in attached file at the bottom of page.

Voting by mail at Metis-sur-Mer

Voting by mail will be of interest notably to those municipalities of Québec, a portion of whose electorate is made up of seasonal residents who live in another municipality for part of the year.

The rules stipulate that voting by mail is reserved for electors entered on the list of electors in a capacity other than that of domiciled person, which means that voting by mail cannot be used by people who reside, for example, all year round on the territory of a municipality.

To be registered on the electoral list and have the right to vote by mail, you must complete the form available at the municipal office or in attached file at the bottom of page.

The ballots will be shipped on October 19 and we need to have received them before November 3, 16 h 30.

There will be revision of the electors list to the 138, Principale on the following days:

Monday, October 16 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Tuesday, 17 October, from 10:00 am to 1:00 am
